TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR
*Restriction on Dhar Road for HMVs with more than 10 tires*
HMVs with only 06 and 10 tires will be allowed to cross Dhar road.
*TRAFFIC PLAN & NOTICE FOR 2022-03-11*
Tomorrow 11-03-2022 subject to good weather and better road conditions * MLVs (passengers)/private cars * will be permitted * from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW * viz * Jammu to Srinagar and vice- versa * . *TCU Jammu/Srinagar must liaise with TCU Ramban* before releasing traffic.
* LMV/Private Cars from Nagrota (Jammu) from 07:00 to 12:00,*
*from Jakheni (Udhampur) from 08h00 to 13h00* &
*from Navyug tunnel (Qazigund side) from 07:00 to 12:00* (subject to change depending on road position then)
*No vehicles will be allowed before and after the cut-off hours.*
Subject to good weather and better road conditions, HMVs will be permitted from Jakhani (Udhampur) to Srinagar after assessing the traffic situation on NHW. TCU Udhampur to liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing HMVs.
*SF convoy movement*
Security forces are advised/requested not to oppose the advisory/traffic plan due to traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. *They can commute from Jammu to Srinagar* after confirming NHW status.
* MUGHAL ROAD / SSG ROAD / KISHTWAR-SINTHAN ROAD *
Mughal Road, Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri Road and Kishtwar-Sinthan Road closed to vehicular traffic by the administration due to snow accumulation.
People are advised to undertake travel on NHW-44 only after confirming road conditions with traffic control units as follows:-
