Amaravati, July 6 (SocialNews.XYZ) Andhra Pradesh’s opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has accused Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of diverting public funds to his own newspaper.

TDP political bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy was doing business with cunning ideas.

He heavily criticized the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government for its latest order to spend Rs 5.5 crore for village volunteers every month so they can buy Telugu daily aSakshi’.

The former finance minister alleged that Jagan misappropriated funds from taxes and increased the costs of his own newspaper. He also criticized the chief minister for ignoring the welfare of government employees and distributing “looted public money to village volunteers who are his own party workers.”

“Employees are the bridge between the government and the public. Their efforts are necessary for proper administration by the government. But Jagan Reddy treats employees like his slaves. Employees do not receive wages on time. years of YS Jagan, state government employees rarely received their salaries on day 1. On the other hand, their salaries are being cut with the reverse PRC,” Ramakrishnudu said.

The TDP leader alleged that Jagan Reddy was grossly unfair to employees but promoting village volunteers.

He said the volunteers were plundering the public with their corrupt practices.

“They take bribes for any welfare scheme. The public thinks that is more than enough to give them Rs 5,000 salary. But Jagan Reddy gave them Rs 485.44 crores of rupees in the name of Seva Ratna and Seva Vajra rewards. Now the government of Jagan has issued a GO to pay Rs 200 per month to purchase newspapers,” he said.

The TDP leader pointed out that there are almost 2.66 lakh village/ward volunteers in the state and he needs Rs 5.5 crore every month to buy newspapers.

He alleged that the chief minister is giving money to the state treasury volunteers and that they will buy Jagan’s own newspaper.

“So Jagan Reddy diverts public money to his own ‘Khazana’. He does business with cunning ideas. He, who claims to be in politics for public service, can’t distribute his own newspaper to members for free of his own party? He asked.

He said that Jagan Reddy had canceled many programs introduced by the previous TDP government, such as education abroad, Anna canteens, Dulhan program for Muslim girls, Adarana instruments for the employment of backward class, corporate loans for self-employment of SC, ST, backward class and minority youth.

TDP leaders have alleged that YSRCP leaders and workers are looting all natural resources in the state, seizing government lands and amassing wealth. The Jagan government imposes heavy taxes on the public and diverts these funds to its own media.

“Expenditure on public welfare is less than advertisements given to its own newspaper. The Jagan government has spent Rs 280 million of public money in just 3 years, on Sakshi newspaper alone,” he said. .
