It was a bittersweet story for Team Nigeria on day five of the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, reports the Punch.


The Nigerian team’s hopes of winning more medals grew as the athletics event resumed on Tuesday, with the country’s fastest runner Favor Ashe, Grace Nwokcha and five others qualifying for the second run of the 100m.
